Motor Development and Play
The study of the sequential development of fine and gross motor skills during childhood. The social, emotional, psychological, cognitive, and physical benefits of childrens play and leisure will be addressed. Methods of assessment and developmentally appropriate practices for planning and conducting movement and play curricula will be discussed.
