CJAD 399

Criminal Justice Internship

Students complete 45 hours of experiential work for each semester hour. Students typically work in a criminal justice agency, in a non-profit agency which interacts with the criminal justice system, in an attorneys office, or in other similar positions promoting an understanding of Criminal Justice. The directing faculty member must approve the internship placement. Students may register for no more than 12 criminal justice internship credits (CJAD 399 and CJAD 499 combined) during their time at Columbia College. Grades are assigned as S (Satisfactory) or U (Unsatisfactory).
