Teaching Mathematics to Students with Special Needs

This course is designed to provide specific theories and strategies of teaching mathematics to children with special needs. Techniques of remediation and intervention in math instruction at various ability levels are discussed. There is a strong application component to this course. Developmentally-appropriate practices are presented. This course is specifically designed for teachers of children with mild/moderate disabilities.
