This school is a classic example of the Trojan horse. They only tell you what they want to tell you. During registration and orientation, everything they say are sweet nothings. Every sentence ended with, “we’re here to help you, we only want you to succeed, come to us whenever you need any help”. When signing the contract, please read it CAREFULLY before you sign anything, it's an Entrapment. ASK QUESTIONS, give them a hard time. The school has no structure, no communication, no professionalism, and terrible sanitization. They fail to prepare students for the exam and a job in a real, professional salon. This school is terrible. Advance Beauty College doesn’t even provide the bare minimum for their students, so how are they a certified beauty school? They admit students every Monday resulting in a big crowd, which means the students are left to figure things out for themselves. This is a school, it’s meant to provide support, education, and supplies for the students. The tuition for all programs are all costly, yet the supplies that are given to the students are low quality even they purchase very high. They constantly change their policy without giving the students efficient time to make adjustments, they are always thinking about how to fine, take your money when you change the time. You need to keep track of your school hours. They always find a way to deduct them to delay your graduation date. If you don’t graduate on time, you’re forced to pay a fine. They are all about taking money from you! Let’s say, you’re not able to come in on your contracted hours, they will expect a payment in order to change your schedule around. The staff at the school is also very lacking. They like to say how they want us to succeed and care about our futures and those are nice words to say but actions speak louder and there actions scream we just want your money and for you to be done so we can get the next sucker in and take there money Don’t get me started on the instructors in the morning class , they don’t teach anything so you end up teaching yourself. Anytime we would ask her about things she would just say I don't know I'll get back to you and never answer questions and don't get me started on the test she would give us, almost had the wrong answers on test and she would just laugh like it's cute to be consistently setting us up for failure. Please Never ever choose this school, even if it’s your last option. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Keep your money, value your energy, choose another school even if it means driving miles away. You will have a very bad experience. I advise you to never come here. if there are 0 stars I will give the field 0 stars. Only reason this school exists because they're State Board certified beauty school.
