1309/BIOL 1309 Man and the Environment (3-0). A introductory owners manual to Earth for nonbiology majors. Includes a survey of contemporary ecological concepts that affect mans life, values, and culture. Topics include the biosphere and ecosystems, adaptation, environmental pollution, waste management, conservation, population growth, and world food problems. Co-registration for Biology 1109 is suggested. Not intended for Biology majors.
