HIST 3337
Ancient World
3337 Ancient World (3-0). This class will give students a detailed overview of the ancient world. The course will explore topics as diverse as the emergence of cities, trade and travel, religion, government and empire, and the everyday experiences of ancient peoples. Satisfactory completion of History 1301 and 1302 or equivalent American history credit is prerequisite to advanced history courses (3000- and 4000- level courses).
