Population Health and Epidemiology for Advanced Nursing

Population Health and Epidemiology for Advanced Nursing (3-0-0). This course explores the distribution and determinants of health and disease that affect human populations using health information and technology. Principles of genetics, genomics, and epidemiological data are considered for design and delivery of evidence-based, culturally relevant clinical prevention and health promotion strategies and interventions. Evidencebased clinical prevention and population indices form the basis of a health promotion project.
