PC 832 Firearms Training
Provides students with the competencies required for certification by Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) 80101. Students will engage in the use of firearms, which will include handgun familiarization; safety; care, cleaning and storage; firearms range qualifications. SPECIAL NOTICE: Per Penal Code section 13511.5, students must obtain written clearance from the California Department of Justice verifying that they are not prohibited frompossessing firearms which involves completion of LiveSCAN and DOJ clearance.
