Survey of Art Asian Art
This course is a historical survey of artistic heritages of Asia from the Neolithic period to the present. Art from Asian regions will be examined from a historical, political, and socio-cultural background. Students will identify styles, techniques, principles, and formal elements; and will critique and analyze artwork in the appropriate historic context.
