Inmate Work Incentive Program

Prepares students to supervise inmates in a correctional environment and provide a better understanding of prisoner programs. State law mandates that "every inmate shall have a reasonable opportunity to participate in a full-time credit qualifying assignment, consistent with institutional security and available resources." This course meets the training requirements as set forth by the Corrections Standards Authority for counties participating in the Standards and Training for Corrections Program.
