Bellingham Technical College (called Bellingham Tech or BTC) is the only technical college in the northwest part of Washington state in the United States. it provides hands-on education in a variety of fields, from nursing and dental hygiene to welding and engineering. It is located in the town of Bellingham, Washington. Just a mile northwest of downtown Bellingham. The campus resides about 90 miles (140 km) north of Seattle and 60 miles (97 km) south of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of several community colleges in the area, including Whatcom Community College and Northwest Indian College. BTC teaches basic academic skills and has GED testing.
