MUSC 001

Musicianship I

Basic aural skills and practical applications of the rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic materials needed to perform, teach, and compose music. Class activities will focus around the musicianship skills of rhythmic reading and dictation, identification and dictation of intervals and triads, melodic dictation, contrapuntal dictation, harmonic dictation, and sight singing.
