An exploration of central theological themes as they have been articulated in historic and contemporary Christian theology and as they have been engaged by key works of literature. In the theology portion of this course, students will study Christian understandings of the nature and identity of the triune God in relation to other key Christian beliefs. In the literature portion of the course, students will do a close study of a substantial literary text relevant to the theological topics under discussion. Specific topics will be determined by the instructors
