Introduction to Quantum Physics

This course introduces non-classical phenomena and their explanation in quantum mechanics. Topics include wave-particle duality of matter and light, the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, Schrodingers wave mechanics, spin, quantum mechanical treatment of atoms, the quantum mechanical description of solids, introduction to nuclear physics, radioactivity, strong and weak nuclear force, and elementary particles
