PSYC 305

Psychology of Work

A consideration of psychological concepts and research related to human action in work situations, particularly in organizations. The principles of industrial and organizational psychology and human resource management are applied to current topics including organizational identity, psychometrics for screening and selection, employee socialization, performance measurement and management, and employee attitudes and behaviors. The relationship of psychological theory and practice are analyzed through case studies of organizational experiences. Also listed as HRM 305
