Clinical and Counseling Assessment

An introduction to the theoretical and practical issues of psychological testing and measurement. Topics include: Test construction, reliability and validity of tests, evaluation of commonly used tests including measures of intelligence, personality, development, and emotion, exposure to measures used in multiple settings including neuropsychology, assessment in clinical and counseling psychology, school assessment, and industrial/organizational psychology, and the socio-cultural, educational, and legal issues involved in testing and measurement
