Anthropological Theory

Overview of the developmental history of theory in anthropology. Topics include history of science, epistemology and ontology, paradigm formation and shift, 18th and 19th century social theory, historical particularism, structural-functionalism, symbolic anthropology, cultural materialism, structuralism, feminist theory, post-modernism/post-structuralism, and practice theory.
