Archaeology Field School

Hands-on participation in archaeological fieldwork; techniques of archaeological field reconnaissance and survey; exploration, mapping and excavation of actual archaeological remains. Recording and processing of archaeological data. May be conducted at sites in different locations, consult Department for details; students are responsible for their own transportation. Credit varies by offering. May be repeated for credit for up to 12 credit hours, however no more than 6 may be counted as electives towards the Anthropology Major or Minor.
