Clinical Laboratory Topics: Instrumentation and Quality Operation

Topics include quality control and quality assessment issues of the clinical laboratory, laboratory statistics, sample preparation, pre-analytical variability, proficiency testing, traceability of quality control samples and techniques to primary reference and definitive techniques, assessment of the test's ability to diagnose disease, method development and validation and other quality issues, as well as comprehensively covering each type analytical instrument technology that is used in the clinical laboratory, including spectrophotometry, fluorometry, enzyme assays, electroanalytical techniques, immunoassays, electrophoresis, atomic absorption, ICP, flow cytometry, proteomic, as well as other techniques.
