Enterprise DB Systems & Data Warehouse

Detailed study of the relational model of data, including its query languages: relational algebra and relational calculus. Expressive power of query languages. Design of relational databases, functional and multivalued dependencies, normalization theory, elimination of update anomalies, lossless joins, and dependency preserving decompositions. Exposure to practical aspects of relational design and query evaluation.
