Lecture and laboratory study of human movement involving the principles of mechanics and physiology of the cardiovascular/pulmonary systems. The role of the physical therapist in the prevention, maintenance and restoration of function associated with impairments and limitations of cardiovascular/pulmonary system origins is explored. Emphasis is on total patient management through critical thinking and clinical decision-making.
