Study of Theories at the Frontier of the Discipline in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is a basic course for the Linguistics and Applied Linguistics doctoral degree, this course will be based on professional curriculum content, aiming at training specialized talents, guiding students to read, analyze, discuss theories and practice research achievements at home and abroad, thus grasp the state-of-the-art academic research, widen academic view and enhance academic analysis as well as the research ability. The course provides conditions for the students' successful completion of doctoral level studies, and for the writing of high quality academic papers.
