Professional Internship

An internship for course credit provides the English major or minor with an opportunity to apply the analytical, interpretive, and communication skills developed through traditional coursework to a workplace environment. At the same time the student will gain an expanded sense of the professional opportunities available to those with degrees in English. Students interested in a professional internship should consult with the English Department's Director of Undergraduate Studies to discuss available internship opportunities.
