Internship One: Early Childhood Special Education
Prior application and approval of the Office of Field Services. University-supervised Internship One experience in one of three settings: early intervention, preschool programs for children with disabilities, or primary grade special education programs; 180 hours over a prescribed number of weeks, observing and teaching or providing early intervention services under the direction of a mentor teacher. Required for licensure as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist.
