Draws on geology, biology, chemistry, and other sciences to examine the function of complex systems underpinning the natural world and human society, and to consider how society manages these systems. Intended for working teachers in area school systems. Involves the development of curricular materials for use in participants' own classes. Credit does not count toward the M.S. in Environmental Sciences degree.
