Interprofessional Healthcare Teams Seminar I
This is the first in a series of two seminar courses emphasizing a team approach to healthcare delivery. It uses a case-based approach to address the development of healthcare teams, communication and interaction among team members, conflict management within a team setting, types and manifestations of team leadership, team cultures, and ethical and legal issues confronting a team across a variety of delivery systems and contexts. Labs will be used to explore and apply team concepts to cases. Lab Fee.
