Contents include basic computer hardware, O/S functions, file management; basic network components, procedural versus nonprocedural programming, object-oriented programming, types of Information Systems, IS planning, and IS career paths. Personal productivity software, such as spreadsheets and statistical analysis tools, are used to enhance business problem-solving.
