This practicum course offers opportunities for students to engage in specific components of advanced nursing practice during self-directed clinical experiences in collaboration with preceptors. Students will apply advanced knowledge of normal anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and psychosocial concepts to nursing care of children and adolescents and their families. HOUR REQUIREMENTS: 180 hours over an average of 12-15 weeks. NOTE: Students must be successful in companion course NUR 805 in order to be eligible to receive a passing grade in this course (NUR 806).
