Supply Chain Modeling
This course deals with the flow of goods and services through a distribution channel from supplier to the ultimate customer. Topics covered include history of supply chain management, efficient vs. responsive supply chain; network design; coordination with 3PL and 4PL companies; intermodal systems; cross-docking; vendor managed inventories and warehousing; demand management and bullwhip effect.
