PED 322

Anatomical Kinesiology

Study of the scientific basis of human movement and the implements used in activity. Basic biomechanics of physical activity is reviewed and movement is analyzed. The musculoskeletal system is studied and application is made to posture, locomotion, and selected physical-activity skills. The application of biomechanics and anatomy is emphasized during instructional activities and laboratories.
