Social Interaction

Social interaction is the basis for all human social behavior. This course will explore sociological social psychology using a symbolic interactionist framework. The focus will be on the constructed nature of reality and how it is perceived from different perspectives; correspondingly, the course will include such topics as socialization and the development of the self, the importance of language, emotional response, and the process of framing or defining situations to guide actions.
