×San Mateo, California•
College of San Mateo has a great faculty that strides to help its students succeed. Pretty decent instructors. The counseling department could do a better job but I did find an amazing counselor in EOSP (?) department and she was amazing. Very helpful and she really listens. Physics department could definitely use more/better instructors. Locke is like the only decent one there.

I specifically love the dance program. I really love that the kinesiology department in general is so diverse. The professors within the kinesiology department are so giving of their time in and outside of class and are very accommodating to all their students from what I've experienced and seen. My other general education classes have also been pretty great for the most part. Teachers in general have been really understanding and helpful. The teachers that I've had have really striven to prepare me and other students for a four year college experience. Not all teachers are that great, but I believe I've gotten pretty lucky in getting great teachers. For the price I feel that I am getting a lot out of the community college experience!

College of San Mateo is a great school filled with many great professors. I transferred Fall of 2018. I miss all of my friends who have become family. I miss all the resources!!!! Admissions, financial aid, professors, student life, diversity, my job on campus, and everything about it. The beautiful view. Go to CSM and enjoy it all!

San Mateo also known as CSM, was a great school for me personally, especially coming from the inner city. As students we tend to receive big support from multiple resources around the school. On the other hand, some departments such as computer science lack tutoring, faculty, and mainly online support. As a result, most of the time you have to be relying on yourself more than anyone else. Financial assistance exist for all students in addition to safety and health.

The campus itself is very nice, compared to the other colleges within the San Mateo Community College District. Go here for 2 yrs, transfer to a 4yr college and graduate with a degree from the 4yr college at half the price.

Decent campus located in a gorgeous environment. The staff here for the most part want you to succeed and the effort shows. Classes aren't hard to get into and the education is what you'd expect out of a 2-year colleges. Some teachers are worse than others.

Plenty of resources available to students to help overcome possible barriers that intervene in pursuing higher education. for example, spark point at CSM offers incentives for money management classes as well as food pantries, and assistance in applying for benefits.Great place to get started with you academic career.

This college sits on a hill and has a breathtaking view. As a freshman, I was confused with where to go, who to speak with, how to schedule class-- overall just confused.

CSM is super chill and diverse. I have not seen much jobs search type help. It is very good with college transfer information and counselor qualify.
