This course develops skills associated with the business professional, including specialized procedures in electronic workplaces. Students learn critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, supervision skills, administrative procedures, and information-processing technologies. Specific areas include the 21st century workplace; business technology; business communication; records management; meetings, travel, and financial documents; and the business professional's career. The course emphasizes developing a work-site team through effective communications, dependability, interpreting various management responsibilities, and motivational techniques.
