Basic Reading Skills

This reading course is designed to help students master basic, pre-collegiate reading skills by developing vocabulary, literal and inferential comprehension, textbook reading techniques, and study skills. Learning to vary reading rate and to read for a purpose can allow students to improve comprehension and to read for pleasure. Students are encouraged to enroll in ENGLB for individualized help in the Reading and Writing Center.
