Mass Media and Society
Survey of the mass media: history, philosophy, structure and trends, as well as theories which help to explain effects and the importance of mass communications as a social institution. Exploration of economics, technology, law, ethics, and social issues, including cultural and ethnic diversity. This course is the same as RTVF 300, and only one may be taken for credit.
