Concert Band

This course covers the study and performance of concert band music. It is open to students who read music and perform on a concert band instrument (piccolo, flute, clarinet, double reed, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, baritone, tuba, string bass or percussion). This course includes public performances and field trips, and meets requirements for music majors and minors. Students study and perform music literature composed for concert band. This course may be repeated to meet the major requirement for transfer to CSU, Sacramento, or to other universities with a similar transfer requirement. Students may be required to provide their own instruments. (C-ID MUS 180)
