Teaching Exceptional Students in Secondary Schools

The purpose of this course is to examine specific instructional interventions, approaches, current issues, curriculum, and learning strategies appropriate for working with adolescents with exceptional needs in a secondary setting. This course requires field experience in the public schools with at least one ESEstudent. This course is a 7 week class and may be offered during the FA term.
