Rehabilitation Skills for PTA
This course provides instruction in common neurological problems treated by the PTA. Emphasis will be placed on the client with closed head injury, degenerative neurological diagnoses and pediatric disorders to include their orthotic and wheelchair needs. The effects of aging will be discussed as relatedto physical therapy treatments. Clinical decision making skills will be included.
