BIOL 4267

Plant Development

Pattern of plant development from zygote or spore to mature plant. Emphasis on cell and tissue differentiation, organogenesis, and the influence of growth regulators. In the laboratory, students will observe morphogenesis and will design and undertake a project of their choice. Two hours lecture and four hours laboratory per week.
