Arachnology

An in-depth exploration of the biology of spiders that integrates the organisms anatomy, physiology, and development, with its ecology and evolution. Focuses on the biodiversity of spiders, particularly those of the southern Appalachian region. Field collection of spiders is required. Three hours of lecture/two hours of lab per week.
