BIOM 6800

Proteins and Proteomics

This is an advanced graduate course on proteins, proteomics, and computer analysis of proteins. Topics to be covered include: protein structure, molecular modeling, protein purification, sequence analysis, protein-protein interactions, protein-nucleic acid interactions, and proteome analysis, using techniques, such as 2D-gels and mass spectrometry. Lectures and literature discussions. Offered in even numbered years.
