Explores biological, psychological, and social issues that disproportionately impact girls and womens wellness; effective prevention/ interventions that are tailored to the unique needs of girls and women; and advocacy processes needed to address the institutional and social barriers that may impact girls and womens access, equity, and success. This course is available to human services professionals, health care workers, counselors, social workers, teachers, gender studies majors, and other undergraduate and graduate programs.
