Directed Research 1

In this course, the student, in consultation with the students advisory committee chair, will conduct research on the problem suitable as a topic for a masters thesis. Successful completion of this course should prepare the student to begin writing a masters thesis. The student is required to give an oral presentation of results obtained in this course to the graduate faculty. Course content and deliverables are defined by a written agreement signed by the student and the students advisory committee chair. This agreement will be kept on file by the department with the students graduate records.
