ECED 4150

Literacy in Young Children

Examines the development of literacy during the early years, birth to eight. Includes the study of environmental influences and methods that enrich or delay emerging literacy and language. Group activities for early childhood programs are explored. Field participation in early childhood setting is required. Writing intensive course.
