Technology and Media in Inclusive Early Childhood Education

This course provides a comprehensive overview of media and technology use in inclusive early childhood classrooms. This course is based on the theories of Piaget, Vygotsky, and Papert, which support experiential, hands-on learning in the context of social interactions. Theories, research studies, and application of new technology and media will be considered. The appropriateness of technology use, along with application of new technology and media for children ages birth through age eight will be reviewed.
