ECED 7003

Apprenticeship in Early Intervention

The Early Intervention apprenticeship of at least 150 hours of field experience requires the doctoral student to work hands-on with a service coordinator or early interventionist in a setting that serves children birth to age three with developmental disabilities and their families. The student will assist with family programming, helping with on-going assessment and Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) development, and provide home-based developmentally appropriate individual activities for the child.
