Woodworking Technology

Woodworking technology is an introductory-level course in woodworking and wood technology with a primary thrust on the development of both cognitive and manipulative aspects related to tools, materials, and processes found in modern wood-related industries. Stresses safety, construction techniques, and a study of allied occupations. Extensive laboratory experience will allow the student the opportunity to design and construct objects using wood and wood products. Lecture and lab.
