HGEN 1311

Genetics

Required of all first-year medical students. An interdisciplinary assessment of gene structure and function utilizing concepts that are common to the disciplines of Developmental Biology, Biochemistry and Medical Genetics to provide a scientific basis for understanding the genetic basis for disease. The course will consist of lectures, clinical conferences and an optional student paper.
