Emphasis is placed on synthesizing relevant data and information to guide the strategic alignment of policies and programs and to inform organizational change within a practice environment. Topics may include use of informatics resources, use of analytical tools to visualize and interpret findings from internal and external studies, legal and ethical considerations in data collection and use, and developing the statistical literacy and communication skills needed to foster a culture of data informed decision making within health organizations.
