Class Jazz Piano I

Provides the non-keyboardist music major basic keyboard accompaniment skills in the jazz idiom. These skills include the ability to perform root position tertian based (ii-V-I) and modal jazz piano voicings, scales in seconds, and to sight-read, score-read, harmonize, transpose, and improvise in the jazz idiom.
